Manhattan Beach Jewish Center is the largest synagogue in the Metropolitan New York area and was first established in 1922. The goal of MBJC is to reach out to a vast number of Jews from the Former Soviet Union, who have settled in Manhattan Beach and Brighton Beach communities, and encourage them to practice Judaism. MBJC is open 24 hours a day and provides all types of services, from spiritual to everyday activities, for all long-time residents.
