Odessa Community of New York (OCNY), Brighton Beach Business Association, and the Culture Center Shorefront Y and Davidzon Radio are proud to present for the first time the Brighton Humor Festival Sunday, April 15th 12:00pm to 3:00pm.The procession will begin on the boardwalk at Ocean Parkway and will continue to Coney island Avenue. All of the participants will get a 10% off coupon for Boardwalk restaurants, there will be games and prizes, costumes, and gifts from sponsors.

It's interesting to do something that people, our people, who think alike and feel the same, would love. The goal of the Brighton Humor Festival is to give the community a great annual social event that is filled with laughter and joy. Valeriy Savinkin, chairman of OCNY.

All participants will gather at 12pm and the parade will begin at 12:30pm. Procession will be led by literature character Ostap Bender and his Antilopa Gnu. At 12:45pm the parade will stop at the Tatiana and Volna Restaurants, where partakers will enjoy games and prizes. Finally, at 1:30PM, the celebration will end with a concert of well known Russian singers and stand ups hosted by the famous radio personality Michael Bratslavski from Davidzon Radio.

Odessa Community of New York was founded in 2004 and brings together the people of Odessa and those who keep Odessa in their hearts. OCNY leads an active social life, full of events and entertainment. It helps its members discover their talents and strengthen bonds with their neighbors, as well as with Oddesity on the Western Coast of the United States, Israel, Germany, and Ukraine. Working in cooperation with the mayor's office of Odessa, the OCNY held the annual Odessa Seasons in New York in every September. They are also creating the opportunity to establish Internet-Phones with Odessa to socialize with the citizens of Ukraine, family, and friends. At OCNY there are several groups including art and creativity, young leadership development, work with the younger generation, the Odessa cinema, and a place to meet remarkable people.
