VIA3PR HELPS THE SNOW FALL ON BROADWAY
New York, NY - November 4, 2008

Foster Entertainment has offered via3pr to work with the worldwide famous Slava’s Snow Show by outreaching New York’s Russian-American community, as their main target, as well as Chinese and Hispanic ethnic groups, to know about and be part of the spectacle of this show. With the holiday season at hand, it is the best time for Slava Polunin the world’s renowned clown to bring its show to New York City’s Broadway with its first performance on December 2, 2008 at the Helen Hayes Theater located on 240 West 44th Street. The show will be on for a limited period of 5 weeks with its last production ending on January 4, 2009.
via3pr is privileged to be working with the show through a marketing public relations campaign. Its goal is to enforce the message that the show delivers to remind the public to search for happiness regardless of any circumstance life may face us with. The plan developed by the agency includes publicity, infomercial sponsorships, media buying, and social networking. Through these mediums of communication people will be able to receive vital information about the show, performance schedules and ticket purchasing information.
“I have often dreamt about being part of the show because of the purity of the performance and the use of universal body language that never lies, and does not need to be translated into spoken words. I believe that the best results happen when we are passionate about the product we are working with, and that is exactly what we intend on doing” states Irina Shmeleva, President of via3pr.
Slava’s Snow Show is of Russian decent and though its culture is known universally as being full of mystery, darkness, and sadness, Slava brings out the laughter and happiness of this melancholic lifestyle by taking people back to their childhood where life is filled with happiness. For the Russian community, it is a joy to see this performance being presented in Broadway for the first time; they can truly be proud of such an accomplishment from someone of their own cultural background and share that pride with their family and friends.
Many within the Russian Speaking community have seen the show when it was featured at the Union Square Theater where it succeeded for two years and now that it has been brought to Broadway, via3pr has to work hard to encourage the Russian community to attend the show once again. This is a good time to bring family, friends, people of all ages and backgrounds together for an experience they will never forget.
Slava’s Snow Show recipient of the London’s Olivier Award for Best Entertainment and New York’s Drama Desk Award for Unique Theatrical Experience among others, is a continuous theatrical performance which had its world premiere in Moscow in October, 1993 and has toured to over 25 countries around the world. The show had a record run at off-Broadway’s Union Square Theatre from September 2004-January 2007 with a total of 1,004 performances and has been acclaimed to have the highest ranking in theatre’s history.
