It is a big day in History and it has to be celebrated. The audience of some of my radio programs is over 70 80 years old. They asked me to put together a celebration. I love veterans. My uncle David Fraygun died as a hero in 1942. My wife Natasha will bring her father, who is 82 years old, who fought in this war. I believe we have just a few years left to thank those who fought for the liberty of a mankind, - said Michael Bratslavskiy, a popular radio host organizing this event.

As of year 2007 Veteran's organizations of the Russian-speaking community of New York unite 2,400 active members after they lost 400 during the previous year. In addition to 400,000 Americans, 22 million Russians lost their lives between 1941 and 1945 during World War II.
