Bensonhurst Celebrates its Multi-Culturalism

Brooklyn, NY - September 25th

Bensonhurst Business Club (BBC), in cooperation with other ethnic business community leaders, headed by Assemblyman William Colton, declared their plans to organize the Brooklyn International Ethnic Festival. This festival aims to bring together the Chinese, Italian, Russian and other communities of Brooklyn and the event will take place in a Bensonhurst Park in April.

Bensonhurst, which is home to Russian, Italian and Chinese and many other ethnic communities, was selected as a prime place for a celebration of diversity of ethnic cultures. People from various cultural backgrounds are encouraged to attend and contribute to the multi-cultural celebration. "It is a time to get together, to bring the best from each ethnic group. One country, one city, one borough, indivisible" explains BBC president Alec Teytel.

The Brooklyn International Ethnic Festival aims to share the different aspects of Chinese, Italian and Russian cultures in order to promote understanding, improve quality of life and offer the possibility of doing business together. Many people aren't fully informed about each other's cultures and this will be a great opportunity to learn about one another's backgrounds, as well as, meet some of our neighbors. The theme of this cultural fair is food and folk art. It will explore the different foods of various cultures as well the artistic traditions in many parts of the world. The event will be organized and publicized by via3pr.

Bensonhurst Business Club was founded in May of 2003, as a place where community business leaders can come together, network, exchange information or advice and promote their businesses. The club is located in Mark's Jewish Community House of Bensonhurst.

via3pr is a local and personal public relations agency specializing in enhancing relationships between Russian and American markets, helping Russian businesses get their message across to American consumers as well as assisting American businesses in finding a voice that will appeal to the Russian community.
